Tara Slone first rose to prominence as the lead singer of the chart-topping rock band Joydrop and as a finalist on the CBS reality series "Rockstar: INXS." She transitioned into broadcasting as an entertainment reporter in Toronto before becoming the host of the morning show "Breakfast Television" in Calgary, Alberta, for five years. Tara then spent eight years co-hosting the groundbreaking Canadian NHL broadcast Rogers Hometown Hockey, and also created and hosted the Sportsnet series "Top of [HER] Game", celebrating empowered women in sports. Currently, she works as a host, reporter, and contributor for the San Jose Sharks and NBC Sports Bay Area, hosts two SiriusXM shows — "No Filter" and "No Offense, But…" and appears as a commentator on the Rock Channel's coverage of "The Grand Slam of Curling." A Canadian Screen Award nominee, Tara has built a remarkable career spanning music, acting, and sports broadcasting.
