About me
Rio Phior develops brand strategy and creative campaigns for organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies and global nonprofits. Over the course of her career, she has helped shape marketing and brand storytelling for more than 3,000 organizations, including The Olympic Games, Sony, Disney, and the United Nations. At age 26, she became Creative Director for George Lucas and Steven Spielberg, leading the worldwide branding, advertising, and merchandising for major film franchises including "Star Wars" and "Raiders of the Lost Ark." Her work centers on the idea that successful marketing comes from “the art of making something famous” by building strong emotional connections with audiences. In addition to leading major branding initiatives, Phior is a professor of Fine Art and creative advisor to the digital entertainment company, Loxley Games.
