Alejandra Ortiz is a weekday news anchor at Telemundo 52 Los Angeles, anchoring Noticiero Telemundo 52 Al Mediodía and co-anchoring the early evening newscasts at 5 and 5:30 p.m. She joined the station in 2017 and is an eight-time Emmy Award winner, recognized for excellence in on-air talent, newscasts, and educational programming. A native of Barranquilla, Colombia, Ortiz has anchored national and international newscasts and covered major political events. She is trilingual in Spanish, English, and French and is an active member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
